Live boxing on February 25, 2010 The Bobby D. Presents Show will host live boxing on Thursday, February 25th at 7:30 p.m. The 5-bout card will be held at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel located at 8110 Aero Drive, San Diego, CA 92123. Parking is free and tickets start at $25 for the all ages show. Food and drinks will be available along with live entertainment.

The show, titled Philippines vs. Mexico, will feature the undefeated Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta (16W-0L-1D, 7KO’s) of Cebu, Philippines  vs. Christian Favela (17W-23L, 10KO’s) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico for the 8-round Lightweight (135 lb) main event.

Jose Araiza (30W-1L, 20KO’s) of Tecate, B.C., Mexico will face Benji Garcia (14W-12L-3D, 2KO’s) of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in the 6-round Super Flyweight (118 lb) semi main event.

The 6-round Lightweight (135 lb) event will feature Antonio “Simple Man” Orozco (5W-0L, 4KO’S) of National City, California against Jaime Orrantia (11W-26L-5D, 10 KO’s) of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico.

Newbie Eric “Dead End” Beach (1W-0L, 0KO’s) of Oceanside, California was scheduled to take on Steven Macomber (3W-5L-1D, 2KO’s) of Lakeside, California in the 4-round Super Welterweight (154 lb) event but had to pull out of the event do to an injury he sustained during his training.

Steven Macomber will now face Chris “Toro” Chatman (5W-1L, 2KO’s) of San Diego, California in the 4-round Welterweight (147 lb) event.

A 4-round female Mini Flyweight (108 lb) bout was scheduled between Amaris Quintana (2W-0L, 0KO’s) of La Mesa, California and Melissa McMorrow (3W-1L-2D, 0KO’s) of San Carlos, California. Due to unforeseen events, McMorrow was forced to withdrawal from the fight.

Pablo “El Bronco” Armenta (0W-0L-1D) of Chula Vista, California will compete against Ricky Gutierrez, who is making is professional debut, of Vista California, is the 4-round Super Flyweight (130 lb) event.
